SPAR Quay Road

We had a really unpleasant experience when we arrived — the shutters were pulled down and we were told not to enter the shop. Instead, we had to request items, which were packed up out of sight and then handed to us through a hatch. Unfortunately, some items were missing while others we hadn’t asked for were added to the bag. Overall, it was not a pleasant visit and I would avoid shopping here late in the evening.

Great staff, always clean, nice variety of stock. Post office very handy. Good central location. Parking available. Shop there all the time.

I have found this shop to be both friendly and helpful. I used to work here and miss the people I worked with. All the staff are there to help and make the customer experience a good one. They have worked through this epidemic with vigour and strength and have shown great charisma. Well done all x

Great place for small or large shops, has the added bonus of a post office and cash machine at the rear of the shop. Sells pretty much anything that you might need.
