I regularly attend Church lane surgery for my Diabetic review. The staff nurses are always very professional. My latest visit was with Nurse Janine Kendall. Again she was very professional and helpful with a plan going forward. Janine has been very patient and persistent with my treatment. Many thanks

I can highly recommend this practice ,I have been with this practice for nearly 40years ,Looking at changes made over the years it has gone from strength to strength, I have had many visits just recently and seen many different medical staff from Doctors to nurse practicitioner. Nurses , and Asthma clinic plus many more things that is on offer all under one roof .I have met some really good trainee doctors too . Ive had referrals to see who I have needed to see which appointments for me have been prompt , I recently had an accident resulting in many Injuries but resulting in 58 staples in my head and 16 stitches to my eye lid this has prompted me to give credit to everyone involved in my after care which has been really thorough and truly appreciated, Not forgetting receptionists who sometimes get a raw deal and the brunt of people who can't get an appointment after all they are just doing their job and I my opinion a very good one ,We are so lucky to have such a great team ,accsessing many diff med requirements, right down to a connecting pharmacy too . I would never change when church Lane are the best 👌

Iv just had a appointment here been here 20 years with same docter, but was here today to see a nurse, 5 to 6 weeks back I was tested n found to have asthma n copd I saw a nurse called Laura lovely lady tried me on a inhaler tht wasn't really doing anything for me, I had a fone call appointment Thursday gone from Laura who said it's the first inhaler n thers lots to try, so an appointment was made for me for today with a nurse called janine because Laura as left now from the first minute I went into her room she was rude condescending and patronising, from the start I told her wat Laura said n this janine kept repeating how much more qualified n experienced she was than Laura, I try to explain many times that I couldn't breath right she just kept been rude sent me to pharmacy with a prescription for another in haler n a plastic chamber to take it with for then the head man in the pharmacy said the inhaler didn't fit the chamber so he had to go back into docters to speak to Janine who wrote me a new prescription out so clearly showed how experienced she was. Disgusting service

Appalling service. My 86 Yr old sister is unable to get repeat prescriptions, referral to hospital for xrays and no results when urine samples taken. She has to come by taxi for appointments which are often not with a Dr. So she gets no information, wasting her money and everyones time. Certainly no care given.

Last year, I was asked to go for a blood test with a nurse. I've been having these totally unnecessary blood tests for over 2 years now and I never receive the results. The nurse couldn't do it at first, which made everything worse. I explained that I couldn't get to see a GP when I needed to, so an appointment was made for me to see another nurse the next day. I wrote all my symptoms down beforehand. As I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, I arrived early and logged in, using the digital system. I'd actually already had a panic attack and I needed to just sit for a while, to calm my breathing and racing thoughts. (I'd explained my mental health struggles to the nurse on the previous day, but it had just gone over their head). Anyway, I waited for 30 minutes and no-one called my name. I asked at reception (now a glass box) and they said that because I was early, the digital log- in system had automatically removed my appointment. Oh. right. There was no apology and no attempt to offer me another appointment. I was forced to leave. I've now given up, even though I still need to see a GP. My condition has worsened a lot recently and I'm having trouble coping, but hey ho. If this is how this surgery treat patients with mental health problems, then it's a pretty poor do. Then they have the cheek to complain about how many patients don't turn up for their appointments!
