Great to have a station in the village, makes getting into Filey, Scarborough or Brid so easy… station has ticket machine and little shelter with seats.
Lovely place pick your times to go, more humans than birds sometimes
For a tiny village, the station is really nice and has lots of seating. There seems to be more seating here than there is at other bigger stations like Driffield! The is one shelter in case it rains. It's small and doesn't protect from wind entirely but it helps a bit. There is one platform at Bempton Station so trains in both directions use that platform. If you are unsure if it's your train, it's best to ask the conductor before getting on. There is platform digital sign but I've seen that it can glitch and play up. There of course isn't a ticket office but there is a ticket machine for those wanting to pay by card. Cash should be accepted on trains. Since it's a small station, there is no vending machine or staff around (except trains staff when a train pulls up).
We have a static van near bempton cliffs and its an amazing area to explore
Wonderful place. Dolphins, gannets, fulmar, razorbills, puffins and owls. Really special place
