Hawes Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

A well laid out campsite with superb facilities and caring, helpful wardens. Large off-lead dog walking area with toy library. Plenty of useful information about the site, town and surrounding areas to hand in the reception block. The town is a ten minute walk away with shops, pubs and restaurants. Abundant country walking routes.

A fab campsite with great amenities. Welcoming hosts on site. Positioned adjacent to the river and great views of the surrounding hills and farmland. 5 minute walk into into Hawes village.

Lovely Caravan & Motorhome site on the edge of the lovely village of Hawes. Being close to the countryside there is plenty of wildlife frequenting the site. The reception/shop has a stock of essentials and the village has a Spar shop for a greater range. Hawes has an adequate number restaurants & cafes. The site has only one facilities block and can be a walk away and does lead to queuing at busy times. The staff are very friendly & helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Have to give this immaculately kept and perfectly located site a 5* . Yes it's expensive, yes like so many club sites it's full of rules. But we appreciate that it's a necessary evil to maintain the quality for which you pay. It's not our usual choice. That said we were grateful for all the facilities. We did have our wrists slapped very quickly while we we struggled to make our MH alarm switch off at 8.00pm. But it was still light and no one seemed to be retiring for the night. It was a bit stressful and we were doing our best. Fabulous area on site for dogs to exercise. Hawes is a beautiful place with all you'll need for cheese! food, drink, and walking equipment. The walks from the site are wonderful . The working collie demo takes place just up the road and that we loved too. I also loved being the only person, in 3 days, using the "play area" ! I like peace for my morning yoga. Such a peaceful place. My Merlin app recorded 22 different birds in 25 minutes!

It was great, better than anticipated. Had been many years ago and found that now the pitch spacing and layout and facilities were much better. Not a beautiful site in it's own right but such a good centre for walking out directly into village or footpath network, or driving out into the northern Dales.
