We had the most wonderful time on our alpaca trek! I went with my six-year-old daughter, and Anna was absolutely amazing. She kindly fit us in at short notice and went above and beyond to make the experience special. The setting is beautiful, and all the animals are so friendly and well cared for. My daughter was a little unsure at first, but Anna was so patient and reassuring β she quickly made her feel comfortable and confident around the alpacas. We especially loved taking the baby alpacas out β such a memorable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something unique and heartwarming to do. π¦
An amazing day at Butterwick Alpaca Retreat we was made to feel so welcome by anna and the experience of being up close to the animals with no time limits and free rein round the farm feeding and petting the most friendly animals you will ever meet was great. We did the treck with the alpacas which was great. The kids didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back.
My husband took me there for a surprise date day ;) It was great, Anna greeted us at the entrance and explained all about animals and how to feed them etc. We even got to meet a new baby alpaca (only 4h old!). It was only us and other family that attended the farm which was great! The place is very quiet, you can really reset there with all the different animals. Good place for kids and adults. I really like that Anna had animals welfare as priority and was doing some great initiatives as well for mental health. Not like other animal farms which are often overcrowded and overpriced. I am sure we will be there again! P.S. The eggs that we bought were very tasty as well π
We had a lovely time walking with the alpacas Anna was a fantastic host as was her husband Chris! Extremely passionate about what they want to achieve within the community. Loved that we were able to feed the Alpacas after the walk and see the 5 day old babies Would highly recommend as loved every minute of our experience
Both myself and Grandson were greeted by a lovely lady called Anna who gave us a wonderful welcome. The AlpacaRetreat was incredible and shows how much work that Anna her husband have put into creating a special place. The Alpacas were adorable and my Grandson had Moonshine who he thought was very special. The Trekking was amazing a nice casual walk and getting to know the five Alpacas especially their personalitys. Also to add to this we met lots of adorable small animals. Thank you so much Anna and her husband for a amazing.time. I highly recommend it.
