Byram Park Road Store - Costcutter

i had such a fab experience in this store thanks to the young lady working there today 19/9. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. There was a queue while I was there and she managed it with so much patience and politeness, packing everyone’s shopping very swiftly but still made friendly small talk and was so attentive to all - a real breath of fresh air. Exceptional service that really stood out!

Very unpleasant experience here today wanting to drop off a parcel. 1) I entered the store and was ignored by the two ladies behind the counter as they finished their conversation (nothing to do with their work) 2) once they decided to speak to me they refused to take my parcel stating no space, I asked them if I could rearrange the parcels there for them to fit my parcel which they refused on grounds of health and safety and told me to take it elsewhere as it wasn’t there problem 3) when I asked what in reference to health and safety they just sent a colleague to get the manager 4) the manager couldn’t be bothered to come out and just told the colleague to say health and safety. 5) looking at the store I find it extremely funny they refer to health and safety of the parcels when they have multiple hazards dotted around Overall very unpleasant staff and a lazy manager who couldn’t even be bothered to come out and try find a solution Avoid at all costs

I went to Byram stores yesterday to return two large plastic planters to Amazon using Evri. One of them was badly damaged and they came as a pair. I have never done this before so the assistant helped me every step of the way. We had to send the planters together as the Evri machine recognised only one label. The store assistant went in the back room and brought out some sellotape and we taped them up together. She could not have been more friendly, helpful and polite. Big thanks to her for going the extra mile.

Order some items on good to go and they tell you they’ve not got anything for you. Waste of my time. They couldn’t be less bothered. Useless
