I had a mixed experience at this McDonald’s. To be honest, the food was just average—what you’d typically expect, but nothing standout. However, the service is what really made the visit worth it. A staff member named Emma was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly kind and patient, not just with us, but with all the customers and especially the children in the restaurant. Her positive attitude really brightened the atmosphere. Five stars for Emma, even if the kitchen was just okay!

I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Emma at McDonald’s Parkgate. I recently ordered a Big Arch meal and had made an allergy-related adjustment, specifically asking for no sauce on the burger. Unfortunately, my order wasn’t updated, and I only realized after taking a bite that the sauce was still on it. This could have been frustrating or even unsafe for me, but Emma completely turned the experience around. Emma, who I initially assumed was a cleaner in the branch, immediately noticed I looked unhappy and came straight over to ask if I was okay. She handled the situation with incredible kindness, empathy, and professionalism, quickly exchanging my meal so I could enjoy it safely. Every little thing she did showed that she genuinely cared about customers and their experience. Separately, on the last days that my dog Daisy was with us, Emma also went out of her way to give her a free ice cream. It was such a thoughtful gesture that showed how much heart and kindness she puts into everything she does not just for people, but for animals too. Emma is truly an amazing person and a massive asset to the McDonald’s Parkgate team. Her attentiveness, warmth, and dedication deserve recognition whether that’s a bonus or any other form of acknowledgment. She has a rare combination of professionalism and genuine care that makes every visit to McDonald’s a positive experience. Thank you, Emma, for everything you do you are exceptional, and your kindness and professionalism make a real difference every day. McDonald’s is incredibly lucky to have you on their team.

Went to the drive through , not a busy night. There were no soft drink options only water and still orange? Had to wait for meal which was cold to the point we had to warm all the meals up by microwave. Disgusting. Never go again. Dred to think what the food is like on a busy night . 1 out of 10 been generous.

I ordered on the app a grinch meal of Big Mac burger with chips and a hot chocolate as well as a small fries, share box of cheese melts and a McFlurry. Everything else of my order came other than the hot chocolate and McFlurry as I contacted the restaurant about this they said that they couldn’t do anything about it and to just do a complaint as doing this the message person wasn’t replying to any of the messages I ordered the food at 8:00pm the food then didn’t come till 8:50pm when the restaurant is not even 2 mins drive down road… on arrival of my order the hot chocolate and McFlurry WAS NOT IN MY BAG so complain was to the messaging AI who didn’t answer we messaged this at approximately 9:00pm AND STILL AWAITING A REPLY AND IT IS NOW 10:15pm I have been waiting for this food for 2 hours after I have ordered which is atrocious. NO REFUND FOR MISSING ITEMS, NO RESPECT, NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, NO NOTHING THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INADEQUATE AND DISGUSTING!!!!! Can’t even get a simple order correct how pathetic
