Pleasant welcome. Immediate help from an agent who couldn't have been more supportive. Completely recommend.

Called in on 15th May to get help with our savings . Plenty of staff but the lady with the I pad was very unhelpful, hadn’t got a name badge on and I can understand why. Flicked her eyes up in the air when we explained were not that good on online. Normally good service at this branch, but everyone was getting the same cold reception. Disappointing . If we were good at on line banking the wouldn’t have to put with rude service

The staff are helpful very knowledgeable and respectful. I do agree two of their staff are full of them selves , the male staff is very loud , who ever is around can hear everything, there is no confidentiality. The young female has zero customer service no greeting no smile she does not even have an eye contact with the customer. I find this very rude. But the rest of the team are excellent. I would like to see the young tall Asian member of staff in the branch more. I believe he was moved from the city centre branch to Meadowhall branch, only few days a week.

Went in to pay off mortgage after Speaking with someone in branch the Week before. Told we had go and ring for an updated redemption figure - Got the new figure then told could Only accept payment from a Halifax Account - what a waste of time and money travelling to branch!!! Nice staff but useless information!!

Arranged an appointment for today a few weeks ago to get my 11 year old a bank account and bank card. I called up this morning because I knew I was going to be a little late. I was told if I arrived by 4.15 or 4.30pm it would still be okay as the staff member had an appointment at 5, but we should still be done in time. I arrived at 4.30 on the dot to be greeted by a large man on the doors. The member of staff's attitude changed straight away from how he'd treated the person before me, he was incredibly rude. I felt like I was being told off by my father! He said I should've been here for 4.15 and it was no 4.30 and when I tried to explain what id been told on the phone he said "who by!?" I said the colleague on the phone.... and tried to explain but he just shut me down. He was really rude and wouldnt hear me out at all, not would he see me. It was a complete waste of my time driving all the way to branch straight from a stressful day at work. I totally understand if i had turned up late with no attempt to call or warning to be turned away but I was assured this would not be the case. Very uncomfortable experience, I felt judged. I will no longer bank with Halifax now unfortunately. He certainly needs a lesson is customer service. Meadowhall store, Sheffield.
