Very clean, tidy room... great shower and comfy bed... we slept well! A great base for our visit to Thirsk. 10 min walk into the village! We were made to feel at home and it was a treat to stay here! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Also... the breakfasts were amazing!!!!

Really enjoyed our stay at The Granary Cottage. Very warm, cosy, and quiet. Thirsk town centre is about 25 walk. There is plenty of space to park the car . It's definitely a hidden gem 👍

The Poplars is the jewel in the crown of North Yorkshire. The cottage was very clean, superbly furnished, well stocked and with lovely rural views. The hospitality (and cooking of the breakfasts) was exceptional and we enjoyed a lovely visit. Thirsk is a wonderful and interesting market town just a short drive away. Other amazing tourist destinations are all within driving distance! It was great value for money and a joy to visit!
