The Watermill Bar and Grill

I was staying locally and have never been here before and thought I'd try it out. On the first night I had the Green Thai Chicken curry and I must say it was excellent. The best Thai I've ever tasted. On the following night I tried out the Chicken fajitas and the presentation was fantastic. It had its own designed board for all the sauces. We had a wonderful meal at The Watermill. Gorgeous fresh food. Hubby was happily surprised with the home made Nachos. They were incredible. I would highly recommend. Kid friendly. Lovely cocktails and super friendly staff.

We dined here lastnight for the first time whilst visiting woodland Lakes. We met Rob earlier in the day in the sports bar and received a lovely warm welcome on both occasions. We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant... we received great service, lovely food and will definitely be back. Thank you Rob and team for looking after us.

We've been here a few times over the years, when stopping at the nearby lodges at Woodland Lake Lodges. It's always been a good experience and tonight's visit was good also. Kids had margarita pizza 🍕 (crust shaped with bulls horns 😈) tomato 🍅 sauce was plenty under a yummy cheese topping. One of the kids had spaghetti 🍝 bolognese and ate the lot! She really enjoyed it. The adults had double cheese Burger 🍔 that came with fries 🍟 and hunters chicken that came with fries 🍟. All very tasty and filling. The staff were really friendly and service was quick 🙂 There was a play area just outside that is cordoned off so no escaping 👍 Bouncy castle was up also 🤩 The place itself was very clean and the kitchen had an open view. Visited yesterday with my family for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious, chef was clearly passionate and kindly made us some separate vegetarian gravy, and the service (although a bit slow as it was busy) was very friendly and accommodating. They have a beautiful beer garden with a huge koi pond and a kids play area. Really reasonably priced for what you get too.
