Absolutely shocking customer service. Arrived at 1855 to post a pre paid small parcel from eBay. Cashier was rude and not helpful. On Google it states you are open until 1930, today this wasn’t the case. I suggest you update your opening times instead of picking and choosing when to shut, messing people around
Went in with 15 large letters to post and the first words from the person behind the counter was "that's not a large letter". I put it through the royal mail template with no fight, for her to respond "It has to fall through, don't tell me how to do my job, go to Richmond". Rude and incompetent. Took my large letters to Scorton, all processed with a lovely smile no problem at all. All large letters.
Absolutely perplexed by my recent experience. Having taken 4 parcels in for delivery, standing at the counter for a good few minutes, only to have the lady working behind the counter look up, tut loudly and declare she simply didnt have the time or capacity to process the parcels. She exclaimed she had customers to serve (she did, me and one other in the store...). Upon explaining the urgency of the deliveries, her only response was that I should drive into Richmond... tremendously helpful given I had run out in my lunch break to get the items shipped. Please don't confess to be a post office if you're simply going to refuse to act as a post office when some one asks to have some parcels processed. She did let me buy the loaf of bread for lunch though, so 4/5 for that.
Visited a while ago and was served by a very polite young man. He was very helpful and kind even after I asked a million questions, would definitely return :)
