Called at the Information Centre while on a coach excursion to Richmond. Tucked away at the back of the Market Hall, it's only a small tourist office, but it's packed with free information, postcards, maps, and interesting books about Yorkshire. Very helpful volunteer who told me all I wanted to know about local attractions. I bought a useful little book about Richmond here. The Market Hall is worth a look too, with some nice craft and gift stalls, clean toilets and a café.
Spent a few days in Richmond. Everyone in the tourist office was friendly and very helpful. The conducted tour of the town with Julie was excellent. We learnt so much. Take a bow everyone you are brilliant 👏 👏👏
We arranged a walking tour with Judith through the Richmond TIC. Judith was fab. Informative, knowledgeable, and passionate about Richmond. Very lovely way to introduce us to your fabulous town.
Great place to get reliable information about local walks. Thank you!
It’s run entirely by volunteers and they are super helpful. The man asked us what type of things we wanted to do and was able to give us so many options that we won’t have time to do them all! They also have free tours led by a guide that are about an hour and a half long. The tour was great and I learned a lot about the history of the town.
