The Village Tearoom

Stopped off here on our way home from York and very pleased we did. Lovely friendly staff and excellent food. My poached eggs on smashed advocado and granary toast were cooked to perfection. We live about 40 mins away but will definitely be returning very soon 🤘😁

The best tearoom around the area! We popped in for the first time. We sat in the newly built extension. It was cosy and had a lovely festive vibe! We literally felt like we were sat at home on the sofa! We had our order taken quickly and efficently. I had a caramel latte which was gorgeous 🤤 the cakes were amazing too! Jess is such a lovely owner and spent time speaking to us! Would recommend to anyone and looking forward to my next visit!!

We turned up for lunch not expecting much, but it turned out one of the best places we visit in the long while. I had pastrami and pickle sandwich - it was fantastic! A lot of pastrami in it! The village had some art event that weekend and there was live music on. Great selection of cakes and very quick service considering they were quite busy. Really enjoyed it! Thank you guys! We will be back!

A chance discovery of a little gem. We stopped for lunch today before going for a walk locally. The food was scrumptious and the waiter went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you
