Best pub and best beer in the Selby area .. by miles! Great staff and friendly regulars. Very nice area outside, both covered and out in the sun plus grassed area on the river bank.

Absolutely love The Ferry – hands down the best pub in Cawood and the surrounding areas. Every visit is a pleasure thanks to the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff who always make you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where locals and visitors alike can relax, unwind, and enjoy the charm of a traditional pub. They have food trucks, and one of the standout highlights for us is Latin Fusion. Their dishes are packed with flavour and always freshly prepared – a perfect match for the quality drinks on offer at The Ferry. The combination of great food, a laid-back setting, and genuinely lovely people makes this spot a true gem in the village. Highly recommend for anyone passing through or looking for a regular spot to enjoy good company, great food, and a fantastic atmosphere.
