I had a very poor and bad service today at this place, i got there after 9am this morning, when i got there firstly the front door was locked so i had knocked on the door, there was no answer so i tried again so i had knocked on the door ( AGAIN ) guess what there was no anawer, at this point i was getting angry, so after 2 more times me knocking on the door finally someone open the door, and let me in i said i need a charger for this item in question which i had the original charger on me today, and than the member of staff who let me in Said to me that, i need to get u another member of staff to help me so then a new member of staff came i had shown him my originally charger, so than after 5 minutes of looking he said to me we need to order u that one because we didnt have it in stock which is funny because a friend of mine had rung up and had spoken to the manager a few weeks ago regarding the charger which told my friend we have it in stock, so he made me fill out some paper work, than suddenly he found it so i had tested it to make sure it was right, it was so i paid the money i asked for a receipt which i never got which i don't understand why u need a manager to get u a receipt because i am 100% sure that member staff who was i felt messing me around with the charger couldnt be bothered to get me a receipt so he made me write what i paid and what item it was to request a receipt from the management, which i had found very strange because any one from a business like that can issue a receipt on request, but it was a very poor service i had, that member of staff was very rude and didn't care at all but was very happy to take my £25 tho but when i asked for a receipt he didnt want to know so your very lucky to get at least one star because thats all u deserve, i have forward those issues to a friend of mime who has sent your manager an email about those issues
I'm the general manager of LeedsNet. I've been relying on Ycs Computers to sort out hardware problems since their business began in 2001. We built their website several years ago. In all that time I've always had the reassurance that if something went wrong with my gear, I could rely on Roy & his team at Ycs to sort it out in the shortest possible time, and get me back up & running. These people have great knowledge & experience in their field and they really know what they are doing. They charge very low prices for the work they do, and they are never anything other than fair and honest. So, I can and do personally recommend Ycs Computers unreservedly to anyone who is looking for PC or Laptop repairs, or wants to buy a pre-used machine that's excellent value and will be properly tested beforehand. And if you get a virus, they will sort you out very quickly and efficiently indeed. If you run a small business, you need someone like that to rely on. I do, and it's helped my business to grow, knowing that our tools of the trade will be properly maintained and reliable. This is not spin, it's my honest opinion. Oh, and one other thing. I understand those one star reviews on here were done by a nearby competitor, who's since gone out of business, so not to be relied on. If anyone wants me to stand by my word personally, just get in touch through our company website.
This shop sold me a PC a while back, so I took the PC back to him to be repaired, He told me I have a very good computer, that he can resell for £1500 & he wants to give me £200 cash back & without a PC to take home! I said NO can you repair the PC. Then Roy tried to block the shop door so I couldn't get out, & kept asking me to sell him the PC, I said NO. I then went back for the PC a few hours later, that he was trying to install a FAKE windows 10 onto my PC. I had to take the PC back to hes shop Saturday morning when they was no set times on opening hours on the shop door. 10.30 he opened with the biggest attitude towards me for not selling him back the Computer that he sold me, that I asked him to fix. I was a loyal customer of around 9 years. He took my custom for granted, so now I shall be taking my PC elsewhere to be repair.
Bought a refurbished PC, webcam and WiFi dongle for computer package from Roy, the first week of lockdown, it is still going strong, Roy went above and beyond to give me a good service and price. Anytime I call for advice he takes his time to give me transparent and comprehensive information... If you are local use YCS they are excellent.
For Anyone Considering buying from ycscomputers i would Strongly URGE!! you to look else where. I received a Faulty Docking Station which had been in contact with water prior to being Delivered so had not been checked out even though it had stated in the advert working like new. As you can imagine when my Laptop was attached to the Docking Station,due to the water content in the Docking Station it caused a Short out in the Laptop Burning the Motherboard ruining a £500 Laptop. Numerous phone calls were made but his customer service skills over the phone were just terrible. Avoid ycscomputers and save the Headaches. Update Seller says I used it for weeks what a joke I have the eBay messages where I complained dated the same day I received the item. He knows he sold a dangerous product and should have been investigated and shop closed. When your a company dealing with electronics quality control should be at 100% this unfortunately would not have passed 1% it was a danger for electrocution. Please all be aware !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
