<p><strong>Montezuma's Chocolates</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused <strong>National Account Manager</strong> to take full ownership of our Key Distributors and Wholesale accounts. This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering budget targets, driving growth, and providing an extraordinary level of service to our customers.</p> <p>You will own and manage the commercial strategy for our Key Distributors and Wholesale product range — building strong partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring seamless delivery across the business.</p> <p>If you thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment, enjoy influencing and have a passion for driving profitable growth, this could be the perfect next step in your career.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Account Management and Growth</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full account management responsibility for Key Distributors and Wholesale customers</li><li>Deliver agreed sales and margin targets</li><li>Conduct regular business reviews, performance analysis and forecasting</li><li>Drive growth through upselling, range extensions and new product development</li><li>Identify and secure new listings across existing and new accounts</li><li>Win new business within the sector</li></ul> <p><strong>Commercial Strategy and Negotiation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead customer meetings to sell, negotiate and secure new product listings</li><li>Develop commercially viable propositions using predefined P&amp;L templates</li><li>Maintain strong commercial discipline with full understanding of margin drivers</li><li>Work collaboratively with NPD to deliver compelling new product opportunities</li></ul> <p><strong>Forecasting, Planning and Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own monthly product forecasting for your sector</li><li>Work closely with production planners to ensure accurate supply planning</li><li>Contribute to forecasting and planning processes</li></ul> <p><strong>Administration and Internal Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage all customer administration as necessary</li><li>Collaborate with Finance</li><li>Ensure customer systems and internal data are accurate and up to date</li><li>Share key account insights and data updates across the business</li></ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You are commercially sharp, highly organised, and confident influencing at all levels. You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.</p> <p><strong>Experience Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience managing FMCG brands</li><li>Strong negotiation experience</li><li>Experience operating within an FMCG environment</li><li>Demonstrable forecasting and demand planning experience</li><li>Strong commercial acumen with excellent planning and forecasting skills</li><li>Spreadsheet capability to support production planning</li></ul> <p><strong>Skills and Attributes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal</li><li>Natural influencer with strong negotiation ability</li><li>Commercially numerate with full understanding of profit &amp; loss</li><li>Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills</li><li>Self-starter with high levels of initiative</li><li>Positive, energetic and passionate with the ability to inspire others</li><li>Constructive challenger who listens well and responds to feedback</li><li>Flexible and willing to travel across the UK</li></ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <p>You’ll join a collaborative, ambitious team where your impact is visible and valued.
