A lovely walk over moorland taking in High Brown Knoll. I used the B3 bus, then got off near Pecket Wells and used a public bridleway to access the trig. There were cows hanging around the trig when I got up to the summit plateau, though they wandered off before I actually reached the trig.
Peaceful and very charming area of moorland, well worth a visit for a walk or bike ride with amazing views.
Nowt there except for the wind and 360 degrees of Yorkshire moorland. Perfect.
And, with excellent visibility and binoculars, you can see the Humber Bridge.
Outstanding area of upland Moors. Very beautiful and tranquil on sunshine filled days with little wind
