OUR HISTORY – Over 100 years ago, Lottie’s Great Aunts, Edith and Mary Harrison started baking their wares using regional ingredients and original recipes, set in the heart of the Yorkshire Pennines. They could have never realized that over 100 years later this same family tradition would have been handed down through three generations of family and still be flourishing to this day!
Today under the brand name Lottie Shaw’s we still use only the finest ingredients and we partner with many local artisan producers; our eggs are free-range, our flour is locally milled just down the road, our oatmeal is produced by one of the oldest family firms in England, and our oil is from our award winning friends at Yorkshire Rape Seed oil. Crowned as the ‘Official Taste Of Yorkshire’ in 2018 Lottie & her husband Ian built a new 12,500 sqft state of the art bakery, just a few miles from where her Great Aunts’ and later Grandfather ran the bakery over a century ago.
