Always smells awful and the staff aren’t the most helpful. Went to pick up a parcel they gave me 1 of 2 without checking if there was more than one with my name on as the merchant had sent in 2 separate packages. I had to make 2 trips. Also outside the shop there are some very strange people that hang around, especially in summer.

As others have said, post office is advertised as open and the past few times I have come, I've been refused. Travelled 30 minutes to use this post office and had to wait for ages to be served...then to be turned away. It should be advertised as a parcel drop & collect if they refuse money services.

Awful staff and service. Did a Google search shows post office open until 10pm entered the building at 9.28 staff stood about taking waited 5 minutes for someone to serve to be told post offices closed at 9:30. Point out you advertise you are open to 10pm was asked to prove that showed the ignorant bleached blonde woman the opening hours stated online. Her response was “yeah not tonight”. We travelled 40 minutes to put money in our sons back account so he could get home my husband rang before we left. Poor service staff need to be trained in basic manners and customer service

Always shut, don’t let you change coins for notes, only option for money withdrawals because the shop won’t fix the ATM outside

Unreliable - Would be a really useful service if staffed - the post office opening hours are advertised as ‘’when we (the Morrisons local) are open’’ yet is often unreliable on two occasions this week and last week I have visited the kiosk and been told to try again tomorrow as only certain staff are trained to operate the post office. Last daily collections are at 16:55 which is standard but as the two nearest post offices in neighbouring villages close earlier than many people are able to get back from work this is a valuable service - it either needs to be maintained or customers expectations managed with set operating hours e.g. late night posting once a week when a manager does the late.
