LK Performance

I am very disappointed with this company. I received the alloy wheels with small scuffs and scratches, which are not very visible on camera but noticeable in person. Another major issue was poor communication and coordination in their warehouse. They sent the alloy set with the sensors that I purchased separately, but failed to include the fitting kit. As a result, when I arrived at the tyre shop, we realized that the genuine bolts were not suitable for these alloys. Luckily, I know the owner of the shop, and he kept my car on the lift for two days, as I did not want to remove and refit the tyres and alloys again. I emailed the company explaining that I was very disappointed and unhappy, and asked if they could send the fitting kit with next working day delivery so I could use my car again. After two days, the tyre shop checked the wheel balance and found a very large discrepancy on one of the rear wheels. Unfortunately, it did not occur to me at the time to take a photo, and I only took one after the tyre (which is 1–2 years old) was mounted. I later called the company and was told they would refund the postage costs and apologized. Weeks have passed since then, and despite sending follow-up emails asking for updates, I have still received no response to this day. Normally, I am not the type of person to leave reviews, but this experience was too much. This is not my first set of alloys, and I have used other companies in the past (which I will not name) that were far more professional than this one. I am not sure whether this was just bad luck or if they treat all customers the same, but I would not recommend them.

Well, what can I say about LK? What a fantastic service! I ordered a set of wheels for my F56 JCW and anyone who knows JCWs knows they have MASSIVE front calipers that interact with the wheels often. LK phoned me up the next day, checked all the dimensions of my wheels, checked what spacers I'm running and did all the calculations to make sure the wheels will be fine. They even modified the tyre package to better suit the layout(which ended up saving me money). The wheels were then with me 2 days later in great condition. I cannot fault this service whatsoever. Wheels aren't on yet, not fitting until the new year but I'm confident there shouldn't be any issues.

I have used lk for 3 times now and never a problem with the service at all. Very helpful & knowledgeable people. Fraser assisted with my questions and he got the correct wheels that I was after & particular tyres. Great communication 10/10. I wouldn’t use any other company for wheels

After reviewing several suppliers and reading customer feedback, I decided to place an order with LK Performance (LKP). Following a brief live chat with a representative named Will, I placed an order totalling £980. The invoice was received within a day; however, no further communication followed for five days. I subsequently emailed the company twice, receiving a delayed response only after my second attempt, which left me questioning whether I had made the right choice. Three days later, the four rims arrived. The labels appeared correct, so I arranged fitting with my local garage. Upon collection, a member of staff pointed out that the rims did not match: the front rims had a width of 50mm, while the rear rims were 40mm. I contacted LKP immediately. Their response was dismissive, stating that such discrepancies “do not happen” and that I “should not have checked inside the boxes or had them fitted.” Surprised by the tone, I documented the issue with photographs of the rims and packaging and forwarded these to LKP in an effort to resolve the matter. As a result, I had to pay £65 to have the rear rims swapped back to my original set. LKP arranged collection and replacement of the incorrect items, but their email correspondence remained blunt and accusatory, repeatedly implying the error was mine. Unfortunately, the replacement rims were also incorrect, again measuring 40mm instead of the required 50mm to match the front set. Despite further emails and evidence provided, LKP insisted the rims were correct. They had previously agreed to reimburse me for the additional fitting appointments, yet no payment or apology has been received. Based on my experience, I find the company’s customer service unprofessional and unhelpful. The reviews portraying LKP as a “5-star company” and “a pleasure to deal with” appear misleading, as my dealings have been marked by poor communication, dismissive responses, and repeated errors. I required functional rims to continue commuting and supporting my family, and while the wheels are now fitted, they remain mismatched. What should have been a straightforward purchase has proven unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. After 5 days from my last email, they haven't bothered to reply, the conclusion is I cannot recommend LK Performance at all.

Had 2 complete (x5) sets of alloys and tyres for my campers off these guys. Must say from start to finish each time was perfect. I needed to up plate my camper to 4.4 ton. Fraser did a fantastic job and managed to find a perfect set of tyres that would allow me to do this.The new 18” tyre from general grabber. Rated to 120 and cp rated as well. It’s a fantastic tyre.
