Easby Hall offers style and charm to rival almost any country house hotel. It is essentially a family home; its warmth and cosiness have none of the contrived décor of many boutique hotels and the Hall reflects nearly 300 years of a family house that has evolved naturally.
The Hall is a versatile venue for a variety of events: it offers exceptional B&B suites, rooms for hosting family parties or business events, film and photography locations, corporate entertaining/meeting facilities, garden tours and stabling for those who may wish to extend the B&B to their horses!
From Easby to Richmond there is a picturesque traffic-free stroll or horse ride along the banks of the River Swale. Visitors can leave the car behind and enjoy the charms of this celebrated market town, recently voted one of the most desirable places to live in the land.
For those with more energy, Richmond is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and Wainwright's Coast to Coast route passes right opposite the Hall with access to many miles of rural hiking and bridleways. The North Yorkshire Moors and Lakes District National Parks are within easy drives.

We really enjoyed our stay, for us it wasn't just the sublime setting but the details that showed great care had been taken to make a stay memorable. For example, breakfast was essentially sourced from the garden (save the avocado) including fresh picked raspberries. The coffee came with fresh home made oat milk which was a first for us and very welcome. A post breakfast stroll around the walled kitchen garden revealed a world of expertly tended fruit, herbs and vegetables. Very friendly people being the final bonus!
Brilliant location next to the ruined Abby. Fantastic friendly service, fantastic home grown home cooked food. A very peaceful place we would love to visit again!
Our stay at Easby Hall on the 21st August was just perfect - the house is truly magnificent with gorgeous gardens. We stayed in the Abbey Room which had stunning views of Easby Abbey and the countryside beyond. The room, along with the rest of the house, is beautifully decorated with fine attention to detail, and had the added bonus of a stove. The leisurely breakfast was absolutely delicious (the best we have ever had out - thank you Tricia!) and the service was fantastic. Karen and John are wonderful hosts We will definitely return!
Hosts were more than excellent, fun and so welcoming, you just can’t beat that. Rooms large, cosy, beautifully appointed and the bathrooms sumptuous. Food from their kitchen garden unbeatable, fresh and so tasty. Easby Hall a must experience and the surrounding area steeped in history and stunning English country. A gold star momentous stay we will be back
Fantastic stay at Easby Hall. The owners were very kind, the catering staff who did breakfast was lovely and made a superb breakfast. The grounds were well kept and guests were able to enjoy them. Room was fab (stayed in champagne suite) with the most incredible bath tub!
