B&M Home Store with Garden Centre

Wide range of products with lovely garden centre. Brilliant parking. Very poorly staffed as have to wait ages in a long queue to get served so it is not a shop you can just bob into. Struggle to find staff in the aisles for help or advice so on occasions I just go elsewhere. Maybe B&M should of used smaller premises if they cannot afford to employ enough staff.

They sell just about anything you need. My journey took me there looking for inner soles, and I found some. The place is so big it took me two trips up and down the aisles, and then finally grabbing a stray employee to help me find them. More signage? The store is clean and tidy. And the Garden centre looked interesting. Nice to see the healthy looking plants standing outside the store were not wilting, and reasonable priced too. Needless to say I left B&M with quite a bit more than the innersoles.

Was shopping for things for my sister in laws new home and forgot something that was at the beginning of the store near the entrance. When I went to grab it a member of staff jumped in front of me and started blocking me which was absolutely outrageous and degrading because it was in front of everyone. The staff members are shocking and absolutely disgusting trying to embarrass people for making a simple mistake when doing my shopping. Absolutely ridiculous, nobody should come here in my opinion.

3 times in this store I have took an item to the till and when I have questioned the shelf price they get the manager to check and then to be told the items have been put on the wrong shelf. Another occasion I carried a heavy bathroom cabinet from the sale items in a crumpled box to the till and when it went through the checkout the pice was different to the sticker. The manager came and said it had the wrong sticker on it and wouldn’t honour it. I bought one in good condition from Argos for £2 more. Today I’ve decided I’m never going back in that store again so it’s Home Bargains for me from now on. Staff need to learn how to fill shelves over correct prices.

Wide range of items in store reasonably priced, friendly staff. Downside is when it's busy they seem to have an aversion to opening more tills, customers queuing down the isles and only a couple of tills open. There's 4 tills closed and they don't like opening them
