Coniston Shooting Ground

Fantastic afternoon at Coniston Shooting Ground. Superb setting in lovely, well kept grounds. As complete novices the staff & our instructor, Malcolm, made everything so so easy and enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyable day and we’ll definitely be back to enjoy it again. The club house was also great, nice cup of coffee and a toasted teacake.

I booked archery sessions as Christmas presents for two of the men in our family. Our patient instructor Graham was the loveliest of teachers- Calm,funny and very instructive. It was a great session very much enjoyed by those taking part and watching. The setting is stunning and facilities excellent. We enjoyed coffee and bacon/sausage sandwiches afterwards. The boys are determined to return to experience clay shooting next. Highly recommend.

Great morning out shooting with my son, lots of traps available ranging for easier ones to difficult and challenging ones, cafe has very good food and drinks available, excellent lessons and instructors, shop has excellent range of guns and accessories available 👍

Visited here yesterday for a shooting experience with my wife, the venue is superb, interesting and varied traps and our guide (Tim) was an absolute gent, great tuition but also made us feel relaxed and confident. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, will be coming back again

Very pleased with the coaching session I had with Nigel. He's clearly very knowledgeable and happy to pass that onto beginners in a way that isn't overwhelming. I wholeheartedly recommend a coaching session for those who are new to shotgun shooting. The advice given will serve you well as you progress further.
