Close proximity to Withens Clough reservoir. Small car park but enough room on a quiet day. The walk around the res is just over 2km and the path is flat and easily walkable. No benches to sit on unfortunately but don’t let this put you off. There are lovely views
Beautiful place, ideal for long and quiet walks
Free car park. Park here to walk upto the lake. Approximately 10 to 15 cars can be parked.
Free car park with space for about 20 cars. It’s a good place to park for a walk up to stoodley pike.
The car park itself is ok, the problem is getting to it. The narrow lane which leads to it is in apalling condition, full of deep potholes and fissures. Fine if you drive a tank or a tractor, otherwise forget it.
