Lythe Caravan and Camping

Lovely campsite, good size pitches with lovely views. Easy walk into Sandsend, but not so much going up hill! Toilets and showers were clean and tidy & few washing up points.

Just back from a 3 night stay, Lovely site good size pitch, the facilities were good toilets and showers were very clean, indoor washing up area with washing machine and dryer, great community shop in the village a few mins walk has a good choice, bus stop at the end of the campsite road 11mins to whitby. Will definitely be back

We had a pleasant stay here and we were given a quick rundown on facilities on arrival. The campsite is very well located for getting up and down the coastline and into the moors. Also very close to Sandsend and Whitby. The only thing that let it down is the facilities which never seemed clean. You could guarantee you’d find sand and mud in the showers, and the toilets felt a bit grubby. The guy who runs the site works hard, but it just feels like it needs a bit more love.

Excellent site, great location, bus stop outside 15 mins to Whitby every 1/2 hr. Owner extremely helpful. Toilets and showers great and lovely sea views. Community shop over the road has a great garden out the back for tea, cakes and sandwiches. If the pub was open normal times this site would be perfect but we fully understand and sympathise with the commercial issues.

The site was very clean and the pitch was an ample size. It eas also very quiet, even with children on-site. The guy on-site was very helpful as we had a problem with our electric hook-up. The toilet and shower facilities were also very clean. Would definitely go back.
