Howdens - Sheffield Parkway

We buy at least one kitchen per month from Howdens and I’d recommend them. Sam at Attercliffe is brilliant at designing kitchens.

Great customer service from start to finish. From Jason comin out to measure up right thru the designing and delivery. As well as after care too. Highly recommended. Nothin is a problem. All staff very friendly and smiley.

Bought a kicthen from here recently through recommendation of a trader that I was using. Everything seemed fine to start with a good, quick and detailed kitchen measure and design. When it came to doing a remeasure after I'd had the kitchen plastered though that's where the problems first started.... 1. After the remeasure they said that I'd need a different sized corner unit which I'd have to pay for when upon buying the kicthen I'd been told anything that changed after the remeasure they'd swap out no problem. I'd managed to sort that so they'd do what they said they'd do and thought that was that. 2. I'd arranged a delivery date a few days before a trip so I could get the kicthen stored before I went. It came to the delivery date and they hadn't arranged a driver so it had to be rescheduled to the day after. It then came to that day and 15 min delivery time no one had showed up. When I rang they said that nothing was down to be delivered and I'd have to wait till the next week. I told them that I was going away and if it wasn't today then they'd have to store it themselves for another 3 weeks. Funnily enough I got the kicthen delivery within 15 min. 3. When it came to the joiner assembling the kicthen he noticed that multiple items were missing included a length of worktop, extractor and other fairly important bits for a kitchen. He also said that the corner unit that they'd supposedly remeasured was still the old larger one and had to ring himself to arrange to get the undelivered parts and new corner unit delivered. 4. The undelivered parts and new corner unit were sent but not after another long drawn out delivery where drivers were scheduled on the days they said they would be and deliveries having to be pushed back. They then forgot to take the old corner unit which I was chased about and charged for and then had to arrange a new collection date. The corner unit charge was then supposedly removed after speaking with multiple people to get it taken off the account. 5. Fast forward a month or 2 when I again got charged for corner unit and had to contact them once again to get this fully and finally removed. Don't get me wrong the kicthen looks great but when I paid the amount I did for the kicthen I expected less hassle than I got and to actually get the full kitchen upon delivery rather than having bits missing. After everything with Howdens the only part of the process that was enjoyable was actually getting the kicthen design done. Based off of that I would not use these again and take my business elsewhere.

Just bought another lovely kitchen from here. Planning and service excellent. They thought of everything and more and all at an excellent price. Howdens are definitely worth a visit if looking for a kitchen wouldn't go anywhere else.

We had a new kitchen top, sink and taps, very helpful and they also recommend people who will do the work, very quick turnaround.
