Tinsley Park Golf Course

What has happened to this course? severely run down poorly maintained i get the time of year and maybe maintenance going on but the general condition was awful impossible to putt on the greens okay in summer season awful rest of year saw no greenkeepers on course through round and it shows really let down and walked off after 5 holes wont be back, no excuse for it to be so run down at the price charged compared tovothers in area not much difference and likes of birley wood same owners this is 1*

Overdue review; Filling in bunkers to keep maintenance costs down. Greens in bad shape. Cafe closed. New operator seems to be doing well......... Used to be fantastic value for money, but not convinced the new operator cares too much about the courses they've inherited from SCT.

Shocking course in winter. Multiple temp green's already. Will also be on winter tees soon as they are shocking too. Shame its not looked after better as in the summer it's a nice course.

What a fabulous course. Great value at £16 a round….Better condition than some private courses I’ve played recently which cost around £10 more! Greens were immaculate, fairways short and well kept, wide open fairways but you had to really think about where to play your shot or you’d be blocked out or some horrendous sand trap awaited you near the green! Even the bunkers were all raked and immaculate…Absolute pleasure to play there today and I will be back for sure (maybe sneak another round in Thursday)

Course is in very good condition considering the time of year. Greens have been treated and are very sandy, slow and bumpy but to be expected in mid October.
