every bad review on here is doing the most. this college does an amazing job with special needs students and they are incredibly inclusive. There aren’t many courses as it is a 6 form centre and anyone questioning that is downright dumb. i came to this college after being homeschooled for 3 years as an awfully anxious person and it has well and truly helped me. The staff are all incredible and easy to speak to. The students are all friendly and it is overall a great environment. Do your research before you spread your unwanted reviews.

Incredibly dissatisfied, would not recommend their adult courses. I attending a counselling course and it was totally disorganised, we still haven’t received feedback nearly three months since the course ended and it was only meant to be 12 weeks long. This course has totally wrecked my confidence and ability to move onto the level 3. There was absolutely no support as someone with disabilities. I would not recommend at all. I did put an official complaint in but I’ve heard absolutely nothing since.

We have been trying to get through the Springfield centre for some time. It has been pathetically impossible! First we were given an extension number to the staff rooom for foundation level. Nobody answers. We tried again by calling the main line that puts you through to the main campus. Operator there said apply online and child can view the foundation level dept during interview, but when I questioned her how can we apply online if child hasn’t seen foundation level resources or courses/staff? Could we apply online and change the course later? She replied it’s not possible to change so will send out a manual application form through the post! It’s not about applying, some children with additional needs need to VISIT the department and are sometimes unsure about the courses. As much as they may have spent millions to build this additional needs centre, it’s not easily accessible, communication and contact is dire and needs updating to this century rather than going through silly phone calls and suggestions over the phone which is just delaying the whole process. I will give up and not bother sending my child here since just trying to get through to the department is a super massive struggle and mission I now worry what communication would be like after enrolling for parents or students. You can’t get through to anyone in this college it’s pathetic! Imagine someone with learning difficulty trying to call to speak to someone and only end up confused and doors shut on them like this.

Do not send your kids here with special needs! The teachers don’t have a clue how to deal with special needs kids! The biggest mistake was sending my kid here who goes to the special needs section, it’s been a living nightmare with the teachers! Please take my advice and don’t send your kids with special needs here as they will suffer! The teachers are very inexperienced on dealing with kids with special needs !
