I always have a great experience at eclipse. Dr Shabana and Dr Lewis are fantastic at their work, they have always made me feel very comfortable as a nervous patient. Never had any issues after treatment 😊

I am profoundly disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at this dental practice under Dr. Ambika Amini’s care. As a private patient who relies on consistent scheduling, the handling of my recent appointment was utterly unacceptable and demonstrated a complete disregard for my time and needs. My appointment, booked on July 29, 2025, for 10:10 AM on a Tuesday—my only consistently available day—was changed without proper notification. I received no text message, and the email informing me of the change was sent to my junk folder, which I only discovered upon arriving at the practice after traveling all the way from Leeds. This lack of clear communication was beyond inconvenient, as I made significant efforts to attend on time during a busy university week, only to find my appointment had been reassigned. To my dismay, the courteous receptionist informed me that Dr. Amini had prioritized another patient by giving away my slot, not due to an emergency, leaving no available appointments until September 30, 2025. This has delayed my orthodontic treatment by two weeks, which is critical for my braces adjustments. I have repeatedly emphasized that Tuesdays are my only available day, yet Dr. Amini’s decision to reassign my appointment caused me to miss an important university commitment, adding unnecessary stress and disruption to my schedule. Not only have I wasted my money on this visit, but I also wasted my precious time traveling to this practice, which has made me question my decision to continue treatment here altogether. Adding to my frustration, Dr. Amini is sometimes 15 to 30 minutes late for appointments, yet when I misread a message on a previous visit and risked being slightly late, I was only granted a strict 10-minute courtesy window. This inconsistency in accommodating patients’ time, while expecting punctuality in return, feels unfair and dismissive, especially for a private patient. While I have generally had positive interactions with the staff, and the receptionist was polite, this incident was poorly managed and unacceptable. The disregard for my long-standing Tuesday appointment and the lack of proper communication have completely undermined my trust in the practice’s commitment to patient care and reliable scheduling. I sincerely hope this feedback prompts significant improvements in communication, punctuality, and respect for patients’ time and scheduling needs. Regrettably, this incident has compelled me to reconsider continuing my treatment at this practice, as the financial and emotional toll, coupled with the disruption to my schedule, is unacceptable for a service I pay for privately
