Mimik Sushi & Ramen (Doncaster)

The overall experience was okay. Walked in, nice atmosphere, almost feels like true Japan with the decor and posters up. You can either order with the waiters or via a QR code, which I figure is a nice touch. Ordered a teriyaki beef bowl or something like that, and the beef came in a relatively small portion, but with a lot of flavour. It was not bad. I also ordered some hosomaki, which was a little overpriced but was yummy and delicious. I would debate coming here again, as they gatekeep a 10% service charge.

Three of us went in total to the Sunday all you can eat for £25.99 with booking the table on the same day with no issues. Simply put, fantastic food for the money. Restaurant has a lovely vibe to it with being clean and modern. All the staff were friendly and polite. Definitely visiting again

Food was 👏 amazing. Just little bit disappointed as we was three people's and my daughter was waiting for her simple plain noodles too long,while we eat two sets already.Should bring all food in same time,that will be great. My latte was with strange pieces of coffee and milk on the top,when they replaced it, was okay,but absolutely cold ,so ,minus for it. Otherwise food was brilliant, recommend this place.

I almost felt bad disturbing it. Almost. The cherry on top? An ice-cold Asahi 🍺 — perfect pairing! I Would Have Rated It More Had There Been More Stars Than 5. What A Great Find. It Opened This Year In January And Is Going Great. Following The Good Reviews And Ratings We Entered This Corner Of Great Ambience In The Heart Of Doncaster And Trust Us That We Were Not Disappointed. Another Plus Point Was Having A Variety Of Halal Options And A Great Staff (Miss Roshni And Mr. Kamal) In Specific, Thank You. We Ordered One Serving Of Duck Ramen And One Mimik Salmon Lover Combo With Two Diet Cokes . The Duck Meat Was Seasoned To Perfection, The Meat Was So Tender And Juicy, The Light Sear On The Skin Was Nice. The Broth Was So Flavourful And Colourful. The Spice Level Was Just Right. The Salmon Was So Fresh, Fragrant And Slippery, Beautiful Cuts That You Could Appreciate The Texture Properly. The Wasabi Felt Fresh And Had A Good Kick To It. The Sushi Was So Good We Ended Up Ordering An Additional Serving Of Salmon Nigiri And Another Of Salmon Gunkan And That Too Was Pure And Utter Delight. Even The Diet Cokes Were Chilled To Absolute Perfection. In-Short Our Tastebuds Are Happy, Our Tummies Are Happy And Our Eyes Feel Happy As Well.
