Easy to navigate, and train on time. Environment clean. Not too big but portable. Good for its purpose. Toilet open, neat and clean.
Certainly seems much cleaner than it used to be! Plenty of information available on train arrivals and departures , including BSL signed information. Toilets clean and tidy. My pet peeve is Platform 0: tacked on to one end of the status you have to walk to the end of one platform before using either really steep steps or the lift to get to an airport style overhead walkway which eventually leads to lift/ steep stairway backdown to ground level. Even with the lifts it is a long and difficult route to this platform so allow a lot of time to get there!
People say its rough but i found the locals to be very friendly and the vibe was very good. Plenty of decent shops and stalls especially if you like your perfumes
First class lounge is atrocious. Coffee machines either switched off or not working. NO hot water. No snacks available. Could not get any of sockets to charge my mobile phone. Random people wintered in and used toilets. It appears that whoever is in charge is clearly not up to his/ her job. I will be checking it out on my return.
Lovely city. You can find everything here: museums, small shops and malls, parks, good restaurants and beautiful suburbs.
