Preston Baker Estate Agents - Doncaster

Awful Experience! I have recently viewed a property with Preston Baker, this was completely online which is fine. I viewed the property which was also fine, I decided to offer on the property. This is where things changed, I made an offer on the day of my viewing. I received no confirmation of my offer being made. Due to interest there were multiple offers, I really was not surprised as the property great. The property went to best and finals, again I understand this is the fairest way for everyone. I increased my offer to a level I was comfortable knowing I did what I was prepared to do. What I do not agree with is asking for confirmation of my offers being made to ensure they had been submitted in a timely fashion. I made several attempts to gain confirmation of my offers which I still do not have. I emailed the representative informing them I had not received them, I received no reply at the time. I even contacted the office to say I would like them, they had no idea how to deal with it. When I put my best offer forward in my email I also stated I had not received confirmation of my first offer. I had no acknowledgement email stating my increased offer had been received and that they were awaiting a decision from the owner. The representative came back to me after my call to the office, they said they would send them through. I still do not have confirmation of the two offers I have made with this company. I have highlighted this to them several times and still no joy. This now makes me think my offers may have not been communicated to the seller or when I actually placed them. During the best and final I had to chase the company the following day to establish if I had been successful or not. I appreciate people need time, it would have been nice to know the owner needed until the following day to make a decision. I have made offers with other agents in the past, I have always received official confirmation. I am completely fine with not having my offer accepted, my issue is the communication and the handling of my offer.

We used Kirsty Burrows from Preston Baker and she was amazing. Helped throughout the whole process and made sure everything was done correctly and quick. The whole process was finished within 6 weeks from start to finish so this was fantastic. Love our new house and we have kirsty to thank for this.
