Poor website user experience. Wrongfully providing data to google classifying items as “available nearby” - no doubt to drive more traffic to their website as they know many of the products they have are NOT available in store as they are now flooded with poor quality products. Trying to compete with Amazon so hard that you can’t even provide good filtering in your website. The amount of products not available for click and collect, or delivery, or a in-store stock checking is huge but you can’t even let customers filter for in-stock only. The overall experience is poor. In store products are somewhat disorganised and often staff don’t even know the area of the store they are in… Noone expects them to be trades people, but knowing the location of product categories would not be a bad idea. I mean heck, ask team members on your internal comms system if you really must but walking up and down a store with the customer? I can do that on my own.

I bought a Pressure washer and wasn't happy with it. after one use and 7 days I returned it fully boxed and asked for a refund as I wasn't happy with the quality. The lady on the return desk told me I couldn't have a refund as I had used it. I reminded her under the consumer credit act 2015 I have the right to return it. She called a supervisor who abruptly asked me for a receipt, and instructed her colleague to " give him his refund, it'll get scrapped now anyway!" The lady refunded me £30.00 less than I had paid, when questioned her she said well you bought a snow foam gun didn't you? Yes and i have returned it, she they gave me another refund letter and told me it will be 14 days. Really disappointed with the attitude of staff and didn't ask if i wanted to choose another one from the display section, so i will be buying elsewhere. Awful customer service.

I usually get my paint from here but the B&q brand goodhome is a bit hit and miss. Each tin can contain a different shade. I went in to B&q to show just how different the shades were and even the finish. They were shocked at the quality but sorted out the problem to the best of their ability. Prices are very up and down, sometimes it can be the most expensive place to buy something, other times they have great deals on things.

Quite a large store has a large gardening section selling plants ,gravel, wood, fencing etc. Thought that some of the small bags of gravel were on the pricey side but that was just my opinion. Had water butts, barrows , plant food, tools etc. Had decorating, lighting, tiles, building supplies, bathroom, kitchen, too many to mention. Also has a loo which is also disabled so very handy if caught short. Asked for help to find an item and the staff were very helpful.
