I’m extremely disappointed by the way my relative and I were treated at this Morrisons store today. My relative, who has limited mobility, required the use of a mobility scooter. When I approached the customer service desk, the assistant, Belvinder, was openly rude and dismissive. She complained about a previous customer not signing back in the scooter, as though it were our fault, rather than helping us resolve the issue. Her attitude was abrupt and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of empathy or basic customer care. To make matters worse, my relative was later injured when a security gate detached and struck her legs at the self check out on departure—already healing from previous injury—leaving her with fresh bruising and pain. Shockingly, Belvinder saw what happened and did nothing to assist or even ask if my relative was okay. She just stood there and stared, offering no help or concern whatsoever. It’s deeply disappointing to be treated this way, especially when dealing with a situation involving a vulnerable person. Accidents can happen, but what defines good customer service is compassion and care in the moment—and that was entirely absent here. I’ve already emailed the store manager and may include photographs of my mother’s injury depending on the response received. In my opinion, someone with kindness and respect for customers—especially those with disabilities—would be far more suitable for the customer service desk.
Been today at 1pm only one lady on checkout people queuing with loaded trolleys and everyone unhappy about the wait, the checkout operator was very nice and helpful and obviously not her fault no other checkouts were open but only one open is poor unless you want to use self service which I don't, they are often out of stock of fresh veg ,and freezers are always going down the store manager or duty manager needs to open there eyes and see people queuing around one till and do something, most staff are very helpful you will always get the odd one that can't be bothered to help , think the manager needs to get their priorities right ITS THE CUSTOMER
Absolutely gone down hill. Top shelf states no more then 50kg, 1 case high. No cleaning team for all the standing water. Trip hazards all over. Standing in self service up to 5mins for a staff member to authorise my shopping. Returning stock to correct locations with out checking for contamination or check temperatures.
When I visited Morrisons, I was really disappointed to find that half of the freezers were out of order, there was very little food available, and many items on the shelves were out of date. It was frustrating and not what you’d expect from a store like this. However, the one positive part of my visit was Mark’s outstanding service. Despite the difficult circumstances and pressure from other customers, he stayed calm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to make sure I got the best assistance possible. Mark’s professionalism and dedication truly stood out he turned a poor shopping experience into a much better one. Thank you, Mark, for your kindness and commitment to great customer service.
Clean organised well stocked store, hot food and fresh salad bar really good worth a try.
