I needed to have my car's wheels aligned. The first time I went to them, they told me they couldn't do it because the driver's side track bod end needed to be replaced. I spent money on the part and its installation, as well as my time. The second time I went to them, they told me they couldn't do my car's alignment because the inner tie rod + driver's side track rod end needed to be replaced. They didn't even notice that I had already replaced the track rod end. They also made the interior of my car dirty. I was very upset about this. They didn't do my car's alignment, I spent money on replacing a part that probably shouldn't have been replaced, and they also made the interior of my car dirty. I went to another company and they did my car's alignment for the same price. No problems with my car were found at the other service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dirty attitude. Called up to enquire about getting a new battery fitted and the guy on the other end of the phone was insisting on telling me my car has start/stop (it’s my car, I know it doesn’t). I went to check and called him back let him know and ask if they have a different battery (for a non start stop car) and he said “it does have start stop”. I politely told him it doesn’t have a start stop and he raises his voice and says “urm you’re talking over me while I’m speaking - your car DOES have a start stop but because of your attitude and language (no bad language was used either), I’m not going to fit your battery”. Respectfully to the poor bloke, he sounded inexperienced and like he doesn’t really know anything about cars at all. I guess it’s in his training to read off a screen but he needs to learn how to speak to customers with respect. Bless him in his little boots.

When I went in to the shop for asking help, the member of staff at the till was in “unfriendly “ mood. The way how he spoke to me it was absolutely out of order. I took my Nissan for a check up, they checked it up, booked in for repair, they change the tie rods at the front, charged me for £365, but the issue it was not even the tie rods… so basically i’ve been ripped off !

Guys first - just be careful with this repair/mot centre in Allerton Bradford!!! First when you take your vehicle for MOT, they take your vehicle someone else to do mot checks! This to me was a first sign of dodgy tactics. A centre this big will take your vehicle somewhere else for mot checks! What if you decide to wait and see what is done on your vehicle? You are privy to it! Now the MOT price was very affordable and I guess that is the trick. Before any mot check, I ensure my car has gone for a private checks just to be sure nothing makes it to fail an its test. Firstly, I arrived there on time and when I asked how long will the MOT take? I was told couple of hours if it passes the test! 2nd red flag 🚩 I didn’t ask when can I get my car back? I asked how long will the test take! I dropped the car and in 2hours and 26minutes, I was called that MOT was done and the car failed MOT test. I asked what failed it? They said; Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm ball joint excessively worn (5.3.4 (a) (i)) Offside Rear Rear fog lamp not working (4.5.1 (a) (ii)) when I asked replied that i recently had this car checked and I am not sure any defects of this magnitude was not traced. The manager replied it’s the inner one. No mentioned of the offside rear rear fog lamp not working. All focus was on suspension arm. Immediately no point of do want to come collect the vehicle or what are looking at doing? Strict say I told “we can get it changed for you and you can pick up the car today later because as we will redo the MOT and your car should be ready. Red flag 🚩 number 3. I asked them to go ahead given they have the car as they had anticipated. Changing suspension(£140 ) arm will require tracking(£45). When I was called to pick up my car and got there. I asked I had my car recently checked ✅ and was cleared of any related issue, I saw a fog light not working on the failed MOT check on gov.uk. The guy attending to me said “it was working its was a mistake, they got confused with the back lights. If I didn’t bring it to their attention, it would be requiring a repair because no one deemed it necessary to be transparent and say we made an error with your fog light and they went ahead to remove it quietly from the MOT done and stayed quiet. Only when I brought it up, then I was told it was an error. For an MOT test centre failing you based off of a material error(of such magnitude) and they were even downplaying on the questions as if it was not important and having it on the gov.uk website without proper verification-how incompetent! Advisory on my handbrake is doubtful to me. I immediately had to get out of there and here is the catch- i was asked if I wanted the defective arm changed or not and I said I want it. Because to me this is probably some ripped off. I took the excessively worn suspension arm and had it checked by 2 garages and I was immediately told this is an advisory not a failed MOT as there is no noise or total tear of the bolt ring but that will still carry me for another couple of months before needing change. I will be looking at further advice with such service as to the damages with such poor service. My Vehicle is make is a 320 but they printed a 316 and when I brought it to their attention, they guy attending to me corrected it with a blue pen. This was a total ripped off and I will strongly advise anyone doing MOT to do it in a designated mot centre only and not a garage that provide services as advised by the gov.uk on safe mot check. The service was poor.
