Hollytree Caravan Park

A lovely CL site with bus routes on the doorstep into York. Lovely walking area Route 66 to Stamford Bridge. Added bonus was spotting deer 2 nights on the trot. The owners are lovely and so welcoming. We enjoyed it so much we returned 2 weeks later. We will definitely be returning in 2026.

We have just enjoyed our second stay at the excellent Hollytree CL site and we will definitely return here when next visiting York. The site can best be described as a small park, with neatly mowed lawns and a variety of shrubs and trees around it's perimeter. There's actually space enough for 25 caravans so even when all 5 pitches are occupied, there's oodles of space for everyone. A circuit of gravel driveway around the site allows for easy access to all of the grass pitches, and the wide entrance gate should allow easy access for all unit sizes. The covered service area for chemical and grey water disposal is clean and well maintained and provides for the needs of CL lovers who are happy to use their caravan's facilities. As well as being conveniently located a short walk from the village of Dunnington, a big bonus for us was the nearby Grimston Park and Ride (a 7 minute drive) which we used for our visits into the city. This lovely CL Site is a real credit to owners, Mr and Mrs Hornby.

Fantastic little site been before and now returning again grass pitches but never muddy when wet not far to the pub 5 mins if that and to bus stop for york great place love it Just been back again 24/05/25 for 3 nights just as lovely great site and owners 😀

This is a well kept little CL site which we had to ourselves on a chilly January weekend. A few hundred metres from a village pub and store. The public footpath to rear of the local sports centre passes just outside the fence line to one side (popular with dog walkers). Allotments & hedges screen the others. Neat, tidy, well set up basic services were provided for caravanners who have their own wash & loo facilities. Friendly, very helpful owners. This is a Level, Grass camping field with a gravel road to all grass covered pitches with Electric hook ups. The whole grass area was very firm and well drained despite much rain. A 3.5 mile drive to York or 2 miles to the park & ride. Great value for money at £15 per night all Inc. when we were there.

Wow this place is a gem, very well kept, very peaceful and 5 minutes walk away from a lovely village. We shall return
