North Cowton Service Station

I'll be very fair, almost too fair and give it 3 stars. Just got a bit annoyed. At the time, i filled up there, it had the diesel at the top and unleaded at the bottom. This is the only garage i've ever seen do this and i've been to many countries Norway, USA most of the uk bar this garage. As the board was green in background somewhat caused the green square for unleaded blend in. This then made me to not believe what i was seeing, an in the sticks station with unleaded around 2 pence cheaper than the supermarkets. Wow i thought pulled over, filled up, questioned why the price change. What happened was i thought i was filling up the diesel price and the unleaded was more than the supermarkets as you'd expect. I would have more than happily have driven a few more miles to fill up somewhere cheaper and i'm glad i supported local business. Although, though probably not deliberate, i was less tha impressed at why you'd put your price board, the thing that advertises your business which ks different to the way 99.99999999999% of fuel stations do it in the uk left a sour taste in my mouth, haven't been back since

Since moving back to Scorton I did initially start using Coates in Scorton and they then the business closed then after some trusted review\ recomdations moved to NCSS and never looked back yes not as convient location wise they always sensible and ask before things need doing on a service to give the option on part quality they can diagnose faults by me making sounds and there extensive knollage helps keep my 61 plate peugeut keep going hopefully for many years also happy if passing to stop and have a quick look and put me at ease many thanks

Close to Croft track (about 3 miles). Has super unleaded on a separate pump. Prices reasonable Friendly service and has a mini market for snacks etc. So was there yesterday. July 25. Fuel prices for E5 have become unreasonable. I will be driving elsewhere for my trackday top ups Nearly £1.80 per litre. I like to support local businesses but there’s a limit

Friendly staff. Good service. Fairly priced. I had an excellent experience with this garage when my car broke down. They fitted me in despite being busy already and gave a great service.

Amazing MOT garage, always so accommodating and offering the best advice on vehicles. Good selection of snacks/chocolates/pies/sandwiches etc in the shop. Friendly staff always happy to help, thank you Angela and Geoff!
