Grandson loves it there, lots and lots of small Perch,Roach and Gudgeon. and the Lady that owns it is fantastic too

Oh dear ive got to edit the post and reduce the star rating, recently it changed to being a members only fishery with no day tickets being issued. Probably not what the original developer of the lake envisaged, it's a same that another local fishing hot spot is not available for the majority of people who want to dangle a maggot occasionally.........An easy days lazy fishing revisited after approx 25 years. Caught loads,even two large carp at same time .one on pole one on float...great bailiff..great location

Don’s Pond is a great medium size pond set in a lovely quiet location and close to its carpark, this fishery is kept in good condition by the owners themselves, I have fished here many times and would say my carp catch average is between 6lb to 10lb but there are larger one in here, on any day u can catch nice size Tench and Roach plus most other species, it’s a great pond for using a pole too as there is a large grass border all, I have never fished this pond without having a great day of fishing, I’m an early starter and with it opening at 6am in the summer months it is great for me and close’s at dusk, there is a loo in the carpark but it is only a portable one, u put your money in an honesty box but the owners do come round a lot which is good. I am only a fair wether fishaman so I’m looking forward to the spring and summer.

Great little day ticket pond. Sue was great, she let us fish even tho the pond was closed...

Not an easy days fishing as carp still spawning but a steady day in the sunshine and showers.
