HollyWood Nails Salon Crystal Peak

Couldn’t recommend this nail salon enough. Everyone is so friendly and no design is too much trouble. They really take their time and check every step of the way if you’re happy with your nails. Always happy and I’ll never go anywhere else.

MY REVIEW IS NOT A MISTAKE AS THEY ARE ADVISING IN THEIR RESPONSE. IT WAS HOLLYWOOD NAILS IN THE MARKET OF CRYSTAL PEAKS. Shocking experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. After waiting over half an hour i was seated down with a young male who asked me what I wanted, I told him round shaped and biab with french and pearl effect. He began 'shaping' my nails but whilst doing so he proceeded to look around the market at passers-by, almost like he was people watching and paying no attention to my nails or the shape he was doing. I stopped him filing twice to ask why he was laying the file flat across the top of my nail (giving me a square shape and taking away almost all the length I have which is not alot as I need them short for work). He advised me that if I was not happy then to wait for someone else, so I did. When the next lady came over, I expressed how unhappy I was with the shape as by this point I had some square nails, some oval and others untouched. She advised that the young male doing my nails was just "helping for the day" which i questioned "so he isnt even a nail tech?" and got to response. She filed my nails, corrected the shape (which was very very short by this point) and then automatically started applying a base coat. I asked her to stop and asked her why she wasn't doing my cuticles as they were awfully grown out. She said, and I quote "unless you verbalise that you want your cuticles doing, how would I know". ?????? Im sorry but it is standard to push back / cut away overgrown cuticles and it is part of your position as a nail technician to do so. By this point, I was extremely disheartened and before continuing, she asked what i wanted to do, stay or leave. I decided to leave. As I was going on a last minute holiday the following day, I had no option or time to go elsewhere. Leaving my nails looking rather awful for my trip. I am saddened by this experience as I hoped this would be by new favourite nail spot considering how close i live to crystal peaks.

The girl was great with my nails the first time. When i went again the male working there refused to change my acrylics, made them Sharp instead of almond shape and also put the wrong shade of purple on. Absolutely gutted I wanted them done for my holiday.

10/10 service always can have a friendly chat with them feels like I’m seeing a friend !! & my nails come out amazing every time, the service is the most important! Recommend
