Oak Furnitureland

Absolutely crap. I bought an inca corner sofa and it broke within 2 years. I've now been waiting since January for a replacement. It's now October and I'm unable to use my living room due to broken furniture. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

We had a great experience ordering a new dining table & 6 chairs from Oak Furnitureland recently. The store is absolutely huge & had so many pieces of furniture on display. It was great to be able to see & sit on the dining chairs we eventually bought, as we were able to eliminate the uncomfortable ones from our list & find the best ones for us. The ordering process was very simple & they even accommodated us delaying our delivery for a few months until we were ready to receive the items. The delivery men were really friendly & helpful; we had paid for them to deliver the items to a room of our choosing, which they did with good care & consideration for our house. Really pleased with the fully constructed furniture & the quality of all of the items. Highly recommended!

EDIT: Unfortunately lowered my initial review from 5 stars to 3. Upon receiving our first delivery of items we had damage to our bed and one of our chairs, which is not what you expect when paying up to £1000 per item??? Luckily the install guys took pictures and passed this on to get repaired. Repairs were a success. We also ordered a Romsey dresser which arrived with a bowed shelf and also a very very off centre panel and we were constantly fobbed off by customer services saying it was an expansion gap. It took a full hour and speaking to 3 people to get them to finally agree to replace the item. After purchase service isn’t great unfortunately, which is a shame as we really loved the service we received in store. Brilliant service 👏🏼 special shout out to Tom who was very helpful on 3 visits to store. First two visits were to have a quick browse and there was NO pressure whatsoever from them to make a purchase, happy to leave you alone to browse. When we went back on our third visit to make a purchase we had changed our minds completely on everything we had chosen originally and again, Tom was so helpful advising on the best product for us and letting us take the lead. Felt like we had known him for ages, would highly recommend on a customer service basis! Will update review when items arrive after delivery 🚚

Called in to store on Saturday and was looking around for a corner suite, salesman (Andy Usher) asked if we was ok and pointed us in the right direction, gave us advice and tips and left us to it. We found a couple and took down the sizes, we visited a couple of other similar stores on the same retail park. One of the stores we was followed around (something I hate) every time we stopped at something we liked this guy popped up so we left. Went back to oak furnitureland this morning and Andy was the guy we hoped was working. He was. Asked us if we had done the checks measuring and stuff. Advised on a couple of things and the sofa protection. Job done, corner suite ordered. I wish all sales guys was like Andy, will definitely be returning soon, thank you Oak furnitureland and thank you Andy Usher

Went into the store at Drakehouse to look at a piece I had seen online. I was approached by a member of staff who asked if I needed help. I said I just wanted to look for a few minutes and then I would tell him if I needed help. He was extremely pushy and wouldn’t listen, every time I said can I have 5 minutes he pushed to go to the computer and take my details. It took 3 or 4 times before he got the message. I left without purchasing as I felt really uncomfortable and as though I was being watched for him ready to pounce. If it was an elderly person I could see how they would feel under pressure to buy.
