Overbrook Caravan Park

Some sites you know you’re going to love as soon as you drive in and park up and this was certainly one of those…Check in was easy and we were escorted to our pitch and shown how to access the electricity meter. The welcome was warm and friendly. Everything was clean and tidy and showers had plenty of hot water. Close proximity to the village which was lovely with plenty of places to eat and drink. Lovely little chocolate shop and delicatessen and a small local shop that had all your essentials if needed. Walks everywhere and we very much enjoyed the circular to the hamlet of Ellerburn and St Hilda’s Church. Dalby forest extends up from this hamlet and next time we plan to bring our bikes and cycle to the visitor centre there. We absolutely had the best time at this lovely caravan park and were very sad we only had two nights there.

A beautiful site in the most idyllic setting . We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st stay at this site , and it definitely won’t be our last , what a gem ! A short walk into Thornton le dale , so no car needed really . All facilities clean , and no complaints anywhere from me ( and I’m fussy 🫣) We look forward to our next stay with you . We have just returned home after a 4 night stay at this tranquil, adults only touring caravan park. The owners and staff could not do enough for us in our arrival, explaining everything to us and guiding us safely into our pitch. The site is only small, but perfectly formed. The boarders were in the middle of being planted up with summer bedding plants. I suspect it will be a sight to behold once they come into bloom! The shower blocks are well equipped and spotlessly clean: I particularly liked the provision of anti vac spray and cloths so you can spray round and wipe down when you have finished doing what you are doing. The shower was so powerful, it was one of the best, in-fact better than ours at home. The reception is stocked with fresh milk, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages too as well as other essential items should you require. My only suggestion would be that the small, but perfectly satisfactory dog exercise field could do with being fully enclosed with a gated access at the entrance near the road. Our two girls are obedient, but one can be distracted but things and if she decides to go have a look she has a mind of her own. Also, the grass could do with being a tad shorter as out pooches are only small with little legs! A big thank you to Overbrook we will be back again soon!

Stayed there for two nights, a lovely quiet site with great facilities, very clean, fantastic showers. Owners very friendly, we would definately return. Julie & Dave

Well what can we say! this is a super Caravan Park cant fault it at all! it has everything, showers, loos kept spotlessly clean, very well done to the cleaning lady!!! a super pretty site with lots of care looking after the gardens, nothing too much trouble!
