Eppleby Village Shop

Excellent cafe run by Emma, great food and coffee at very reasonable prices. We are cyclists and use this cafe a lot but so do other people who are not cyclists. Emma and her staff have been recently recognised with an award. Highly recommended

Absolutely lovely little gem of a shop to come across , small grocery shop with coffee shop incorporated. Staff were lovely and informed us that most of their customers were cyclists, which was the case when we were there .

What a hidden little gem. We did not plan to go there but on a family history jaunt around the nearby villages we popped in for a visit. We sat outside on the benches opposite the quaint village green eating generous slices of lemon cake. Other people's food looked amazing too. Lots of cyclists stopped off on their rides around the country lanes and the fact that it is a village shop and cafe made it a community hub. Well worth a pop in if you are in the region.

Stopped in on a ride. I was asked to provide feedback on the peanut butter crispy cake. I ended up putting it in my pocket until I had got home, and it was very melted but delicious. Excited to come back here and try some more baking when I'm in less of a rush.
