Escrick Park Estate Dog Run

Great space for dogs to have some off lead time in safety, I regularly use on route to work & occasionally before we go to dog shows , very reasonably priced & easy parking , my 2 love it .

Lovely space, our Rory loves going, he's a nervous dog and has been put off recently by frequent bangs (possibly shooting not sure). We continue to visit to try and help him overcome this fear, currently with varying results, on a good day the 30 minutes is long enough, he is ball mad and has a great time. On a not so good day we might finish a bit earlier, it's a safe space no risk of Rory "doing a runner" £6.00 for 30 minutes is good value.

Great place to go for a carriage drive or ride.

It is very hard to find, I went 2 different ways and was met by various road blocks and signs saying no entry. I would advise going the A19 way only. There are no signs to follow, which would have helped a lot. The dog park was a lot smaller than others that I have used and I would not recommend this to anyone with dogs that may be reactive towards animals. When we went the car park was full of horses and seems to be used by local horseriders for unloading and loading there horse boxes. All in all it was a stressful and underwhelming experience. We ended up going to Wheldrake woods afterwards so that it wasn't a wasted day. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this park unless you have no alternative.

Came this week and loved it. Tilly (the dog) had lots of space and felt really secure. The obstacles and tunnel were a bonus. Easy booking on the website. Tilly and I will be back!
