HRG are the appointed delivery company for an order I placed for a washing machine, and reading some of the reviews on here I probably wouldn't have picked them either to deliver my item. Had a call the day before and backed up with a text when I didn't answer the phone due to my being in work to advise of delivery expected the next day. I called back when I could to be greeted by a proper friendly Yorkshire bloke who gave me a very rough estimate of delivery as he could see the drivers route, this was appreciated as the text said 8-6 least I knew it would be AM time and he was happy to make a note that the access to my property was restricted. All in all recommended delivery company for large/palletised items even took the pallet away which was good as last pallet delivery I had the wood was in the garden till bonfire night. People are quick to complain when things go wrong, as some of the reviews here are testament to, however my delivery was flawless I can only report on on the service I received and as such have no hesitation or reservation in recommending them.

I use H R Goodale regularly for commercial storage and delivery. I have always found their service to be outstanding. The office and goods yard staff are always extremely polite, friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I had to review this company to add to the many other bad reviews they seem to receive. The amount of bad reviews did concern me to begin with but I need to get a TV down to London from the North East and entrusted Goodales to do this safely. Bad idea. The TV got to London to get fixed but came back to me in a ripped box, with the top corners of the TV scratched & scraped - as well as the top of the screen damaged. It can only be described as looking battered and bruised and this was how it was delivered back to me. An utter disgrace. Not only that but I was told by Ryan to pay the delivery driver or they would have to take MY TV back with them. He then also started to take an interest in why the TV was getting fixed in the first place i.e.: did it already look this way before it went! No, I would have noticed that before I sent it down to London to get fixed for POWER issues. Goodales were very quick to shift the blame to me or the company who had repaired the TV. The delivery driver was embarrassed about how I was being treated on the phone (I kept him here whilst discussing with Ryan). I still paid the £75 for my returned battered TV as I didn't want the delivery driver to get into trouble. I asked for a call from Ryan's Manager. This was a five days ago, I'm still waiting... Ultimately, this company does not care about the products they are collecting & delivering, they are ONLY interested in getting paid - even if your goods are damaged when they come back to you. I can only urge others to not use this company and make the mistake I did. i wonder if I'll get a call back after this review....I also wanted to leave zero stars but I was unable to.
