Jubilee Park

A great little spot to kill a couple of hours with the kids. The park has a really good collection of outdoor adventure and discovery play equipment. The lay out is such that you need to explore to find it all, and this adds to the fun. There is no parking near the park so you have to park somewhere in Fangfoss and take the short walk (6-8min) down the lane to access the park. Some of the play equipment was sadly out of action when we visited and in need of repair. It’s a community funded park, and donations are encouraged. So be sure to give a few quid when you visit. Hopefully this will allow the broken equipment to be restored.

Visited Jubilee Park while staying at Bishop Wilton. It was pouring with rain but still enjoyable. There is no parking near the entrance so have to park on the approach lane. In busy periods it could be difficult to find parking. The park itself is very well set out and great for dogs as there is an area specifically for them off lead. Also great for children as extensive play equipment including a zip wire and gym. It's run by volunteers and very clean and impressive. Our dog had a great run and a lot of exercise.

Great Park. We loved it. Stopped here as we tried to go somewhere else but couldn't get in with a dog so came here instead. Lovely park, really well looked after. There is a designated dog walking area and an additional training section at the top which is fabulous and free!! Great exercise equipment too so if you fancy a free gym work out. It's all there for you. Great place for kids to blow off steam and have a picnic too.

Amazing park great little find. Lots of little science activities aswell as a good number of play park activities. I would suggest it for any family

This place is amazing, free (although can donate as well) My kids love this place, I only wish was a jubilee park in every town and city...
