Fernhill Castle

Friday to Monday 27 of us stayed for our friends 40th birthday. A gorgeous building on amazing grounds. I didn’t meet the host but the girls who arrived first spoke highly of him and the information that he gave them. The mouseman room (games room) was something special. We spent Friday night in the living room in our pjs singing to the telly! Perfect girly night. Saturday we got into teams, played some tasks and had a fancy dress party in the coach house. Sunday we explored the area and grabbed a take away. Kitchen was a good size, we took extra slow cookers and air fryers to cook tea for us all. Dinning room held us all in at feeding time. Plenty of bathrooms, just don’t all try and fill the baths at the same time. 😂 garden are incredible. Thank you for our stay

We had our DIY wedding here at the end of June 2025. Our hosts were great - really easy to communicate with, very helpful with recommending local vendors, and teaching us a lot about the history of the Castle. The grounds are phenomenal and the interior is beautifully done. Plenty of room and amenities for a comfortable and very memorable stay. We'd love to be back in the future.

I have just returned from the most magical weekend away with my friends, at Fernhill Castle. It's set in beautiful surroundings, offering a fantastic view from every window. The property is quirky in its design, well equipped and kept toasty warm! The hot tub was huge and modern, it felt private but was still positioned with a fantastic view. Highly recommend.

The castle is in a beautiful location with lovely countryside walks near by. Every room was rich in history and decorated exquisitely but most importantly the beds were amazingly comfortable and the entire place was cozy and felt like home! Highlights include the games room, hot tub and cinema room which were all exactly as described in advance! Such an amazing place to bring distant friends together and spend quality time with loved ones to celebrate special occasions, not to mention the hospitality from the local businesses in Keighley at Coffee and Crumbs Cafe and The White Lion pub!

What a truly magical experience to stay in a castle like Fernhill Castle! 30 of us just spent a glorious weekend there to celebrate a birthday, exploring the local walks and feeling like royalty. It was such a great experience being able to come together in such a magnificent setting. A lot of thought has gone into the set up and restoration, which shows; the owner gave a fascinating tour and by all accounts was very responsive to our pre-arrival queries. How lucky we were to be able to enjoy a weekend in a setting steeped in so much history :) The locals we spoke to on our walk were really friendly, and thanks to The White Lion for hosting us too. Such a gorgeous part of the world, thank you for letting us share it!
