What a great site. Pitches are well kept and very spacious with fantastic views all round. Facilities are clean and well kept, Simon and his staff are very pleasant and helpful. This is certainly one of my favourite locations. Easy access off A1 and then A684. We will be back soon.

We stayed at this site recently, although booked for the CL site we where put on the overflow field. Yes the site is lovely but the overflow area is used as a dog toilet.We had to curtail our booking by three days and they said unless we had not packed by noon we would be charged an extra night, the owner blocked our exit incase we did a moonlight flit, as if we would,awaiting his payment. Was left to believe we where the non paying type,felt a bit let down. So even though the park attendant was pleasant we would not recommend a stay here unless desperate.

We have stayed on both the CL and none CL site. Both sites are immaculate. Grass is kept so tidy. Water to each pitch in the none CL site. Pitches are enormous. Owners and warden so helpful and friendly. Such a peaceful and idyllic site. Lots of walking and site seeing in the area. Will be back. Michelle & Shaun Butcher

Used this site numerous times and found it to be just perfect. It is peaceful, scenic and well organised. There are two sides to the campsite. One side caterers for the caravan and motor home club, while the other side is for tourers. Shower toilets, electric hookups, waste disposal etc all available. Great walks and local pubs - dog friendly site with normal guidelines. Owner and warden couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Would highly reccomend.
