Pennine Models

What a find this shop is! My son and I had travelled from Scotland to see family. My son was keen to go a model shop in Colne. The shop was closed, fortunately! So we had a quick Google search and found Pennine Models. A quick phone call to double check they were open and we were off! Very easy to find via satnav and wonderful to find such a well stocked place in such lovely surroundings on a well kept farm estate. We were welcomed by a friendly Labrador, soon followed by the shop owners. My son was drooling at the site of all the military models so we took our time having a browse and a chat with the owners who were very friendly and helpful. My son left with a great selection of models and no sooner had we got home, he was saying he wanted to go back. Having read some of the few negative reviews on here I’m happy to heartily disagree with them. We’ll definitely be back!

I visit Skipton 2/3 times a year but have never got round to finding Pennine Railways. This time I was determined. Was I glad I did! Lovely drive in and set in open countryside. Don't follow satnav though, use Google maps or What Three Words and it takes you to the door. Stocked floor to ceiling. The photos don't lie!! In fact it's even better. A browsers delight! Couple of great characters with a robust sense of humour. Extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Stuart even guided me away from buying stuff I didn't need so money wasn't wasted. I'll be back on next trip without doubt.

Met at the door by their two very friendly dogs. Once you get into the store you’ll see that they are well stocked with boxes stacked floor to ceiling. Much recommend if your looking for any military models radio control cars or train models.

Owners very knowledgeable with great vibes and humour. 2 adorable dogs that you can't buy sadly 😢. The place is filled with great value locos, rolling stock and good quality track. Will defo be returning for more of my track.

Firstly follow your phone satnav, car satnav takes you to wrong side of hill. Friendly staff. Massive range of models, more than you find in most general hobbiest shops.
