Griffon Forest Holiday Lodges

It was our first time staying here and it was beautiful. We did unfortunately miss the check in time due to traffic but the ladies on the front desk were so helpful and sorted out our keys straight away so we could still get in once we got there. The lodge was stunning and everything was very clean, the shower and bath were immaculate. Would 10/10 recommend, the surroundings are beautiful too and not far from York, thank you for a lovely stay! :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Didn’t Want to Leave – Seriously, Send Help! We stayed at Griffin Forest for a romantic getaway and it completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful the Prosecco and chocolates waiting for us, and all the little touches that made it feel special and personal. The cabin itself was beautiful warm, private, and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sounds of the forest felt like something out of a film. The atmosphere was so peaceful and romantic that by the end of the trip we were half-joking about claiming squatter’s rights because we genuinely didn’t want to leave! Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into making sure guests feel comfortable and relaxed. In short: a dreamy, romantic escape with amazing little touches and the kind of comfort that makes you forget real life exists. 10/10 would stay forever if they’d let me!

Best place to stay in york! We was going to book a hotel but we got recommend this place and im so glad we booked it! The staff are amazing they cant do enough for you, the cabins are the best we have ever stayed in, when we arrived we was greeted by a bottle of prosecco and chocolates on our dining table, you get a cleaning pack that has a cloth a washing up sponge, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, it has a washing machine and tumble dryer and a hair dryer, the shower was amazing and the free standing bath was so relaxing! The hot tub was great and hot and stayed hot when in it! We had badgers on our decking every evening " tip" leave peanut butter sandwiches out for them and buy some nuts at reception and spread them out over the decking, the tv is a smart tv so you can log in to your netflix and prime and Disney plus, the tv is in thr bedroom but it is on a wrap around bracket so you can pull it around to the living room so you can watch it while sat on the sofa too! The trails are beautiful we had a beautiful walk during the day and we seen so much wildlife including the family of deer that have moved onto the property! We are definitely returning in March for my finances birthday, thankyou so much griffon forest for making my birthday the best! ♡

Really enjoyed my stay here with wife and dogs. Lovely lodge, all rooms were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outside area has a great hot tub, table, chairs and a BBQ. Very secluded and private, feels like you're really in the woods so alone. Great walks with the dogs, they loved it. Good reception with shop, friendly staff. We're already planning our next visit.

We came away for a weekend get away. Had the best time. Quiet, relaxing and peaceful. Someone came to check we had everything we needed. We had walks around the forest and walked to Tykes at the main hall a couple of times. All staff were amazing across both sites. Will return .
