I honestly cannot praise this practice more. From the receptionists, nurses and doctors everyone is just lovely and couldn’t do more. They have been amazing with us from my son being a baby to him now being 10 he has a learning difficulty but they are always amazing with him. They have really taken care of us as a family through everything we have been through. I cannot speak more highly of Dr.Garman she has literally given me some quality of life back, she is the most kind caring lady who always has time to listen.

I’m really struggling to understand how it is possible that the corridors are always empty, yet it’s never possible to get an appointment on time. Every time I call in the morning, there are no available slots left — and this happens constantly. It’s very frustrating and disappointing.

Extremely rude receptionist. I have rang 2 weeks ago to book Men B vaccination for my 1 year old baby. (I have mentioned that we are going abroad on holiday at the end of May and will be great if she gets the vaccine before traveling) Takes like a a week to be confirmed because “the nurse not working this week” . Finally I get a booking on the 8th May. Few days later I get a call stating “ the nurse is not working “ and we need to postpone the appointment until 15th of May. No problem, I’ve said. After few more days I have a miscall from the GP and a confirmation that the baby appointment is been made on the 8th May ( initial booking date) . So I rang to be sure if its 8th or 15th. Young ( guessing by he voice) Lady answered and ask DOB of baby. I have tried to explain the situation with 2 different dates of booking but she kept interrupting me and not letting me finish the sentence. I let her talk and she said the reason they have called me is to inform me that the appointment has been cancelled and we need to wait until “after her second birthday “ / I have said , “what do you mean with second birthday as my baby turns 1 year old , and receptionist was like:” is what the the nurse said, after her second birthday.” I repeat “she is 1 year old only and she hadn’t been vaccinated at all yet! Receptionist again : “this is what nurse said “ after 23 rd May . I say she will be one not two years old, I ve said fine but we will be on holiday and thats why I have rang in advance, just she gets vaccinated before travelling. She said she only told me what the nurse said.( Again , I don’t know how many times in a row) I said when the nurse said that as she was not working for the last few weeks ? As previously Ive been booked by somebody else and was no mention that the baby need to turn 1 year old or two years old or whatever. No discussion about anything like this.I need to mention that at year old she supposed to get only a booster vaccine but we have missed the previous vaccination for reasons that I prefer not to mention here. So she could be vaccinated at any time considering she could have been vaccinated few months earlier tbh. So was no medical reason behind this postponed vaccination. I have tried to explain but the receptionist keeping interrupting me and repeating same line “ is what the nurse said” not even trying to ask somebody else maybe it is a chance to get the vaccine considering the situation. She was just not listening at my problem, she was not emphatic at all and when I have asked her to send me an email stating that my baby vaccination appointment has beed postponed twice because of nurse not working she replied to me: “Sorry but is your fault your baby is not vaccinated” . And here is where I lost my patience and I have said that she is extremely rude even more not knowing the reasons behind this vaccine delay. People that rude shouldn’t work as front of house / reception. I even said I will go there to make an official complaint but tbh I rather spend the time with my baby. Absolutely disgusting. My rating reflects only this person as a receptionist and her communication skills and attitude . Doctors are great, nurses and midwives as well.

I joined this practice in the summer and was very nervous about changing doctors (my previous GP left the profession). I have been treated with enormous respect on every occasion and listened to properly. It’s been such a relief to find this practice! I love that it’s possible to get appointments in advance or by ringing at specific times on the day too. I’ve always been made to feel so welcome by everyone there and I’ve had quite a few ongoing health problems since I joined so have seen several of the GPs and nurses, and the reception staff are also lovely. I have particularly found Dr Devany’s clear, respectful approach to helping me understand what’s going on, and the fact she made it clear we would make decisions *together* based on evidence, helpful. I can’t recommend this practice enough, and that’s from someone who struggles with going to the doctor!
